About Us
Our Practice was originally founded by the late S. Timothy String, M.D. in 1978 and has provided continuous vascular surgical services for over 25 years. We are the oldest vascular surgery practice in Alabama and one of the oldest in the southeast. We have the largest continuous experience in the surgical treatment of vascular diseases in Alabama as well as along the Gulf Coast. Unlike many vascular practices, we have a dedicated and exclusive focus on vascular diseases exclusive of other disciplines such as cardiac surgery, cardiology, radiology and general surgery. We were first to incorporate minimally invasive surgical procedures in our practice in 1982 and continue today.
